Seven Seas Quests for Love with Dragon Half Manga Omnibus Series

(LOS ANGELES, January 13, 2017) – Seven Seas Entertainment is excited to announce the license acquisition of Ryusuke Mita's Dragon Half—the slap-stick, fantasy adventure featuring the love struck, demon-hunting dragon-girl Mink who won the hearts of early North American fandom in the side-splitting OVA series!

A young girl named Mink has fallen for the dreamy Dick Saucer, a famous idol. There's only one problem: Dick's not just an idol—he's a dragon slayer, too...and Mink is half dragon! To solve this conundrum, Mink and her friends must set out on a playful quest to destroy the Demon Lord Azetodeth and gain a potion that will make Mink completely human! Will Mink's love finally be requited or is this doomed to be a fetch quest failure?

"Dragon Half is one of those series that's near and dear to my nostalgic otaku heart and a title I've long wanted to see get an official English print release," says Seven Seas Editor-in-Chief Adam Arnold. "Mink was a lot of fan's first monster girl, but so few actually know her full story. I think it's time we changed that, and these omnibus are the perfect way to do that."

Seven Seas will present the Dragon Half manga for the first time in English in three deluxe omnibus editions that match the collects all seven of the original manga volumes, including bonus material and the special Dragon Half Z epilogue story. Each volume will contain over 350 pages, including more than twenty full-color illustrations and wraparound silver foil covers. Dragon Half Omnibus 1 will be released on December 26, 2017 for $19.99 US / $21.99 CAN.
