Japanese Movie Stars Cast in Short Moves by SMAC! THE WEB MAGAZINE
Kichijoji, Tokyo, Japan 6th of April 2017 - The Japanese comic publisher Coamix Inc. announced it would be adapting two Silent Manga for the Kumamoto International Manga Fes. The movies will feature heart touching stories about smiles and our precious gifts. As part of the Manga Fes. the movies will be prominently screened for the people of Kumamoto Prefecture and attendees.

Since 2012 Coamix, through its magazine SMAC! THE WEB MAGAZINE, has been hosting the biannual SILENT MANGA AUDITION® (SMA) to find and develop the global manga talent. Among the talent were Jordanian and Vietnamese manga creators dee Jūsan and Snippy MJ. Their works, “Drawing a Smile Out” (SMA2) and “Thirty and A Half Minutes” (SMA4), gains the attention of professional manga creators Tetsuo Hara, Tsukasa Hōjō, and Ryuji Tsugihara during the respective Audition rounds. Now as two popular manga featured on SMAC! THE WEB MAGAZINE, both works have been adapted into short movies for the Kumamoto International Fes. The Japanese movie stars Seishirō Katō and Hirofumi Arai will take the lead roles in the respective titles.
