Story

Summer has come.
With summer comes a long vacation from school. The Broadcasting Club has been torn apart, left to slowly disintegrate. Since returning from their first field trip of the summer, there's been a palpable distance between the club members. Now, only one single member continues to participate in the club activities.

But a horrible realization has dawned on all of them: their school has been completely deserted. Are they really the only people left?

The hero of our story is a member of the Broadcasting Club. He casually greets his friends as they show up at the otherwise deserted school.

Last summer, the club comprised a close-knit group of friends who worked together. Yet now, only a single member continues their efforts.

This is the story of their clashing differences rising to a boil, and the resolutions that arise from these clashes. Once divided, the club members slowly begin to grow closer once again.

On the final day of summer vacation, the students manage to complete their summer project; an antenna. Using the device, they send out a message - to all people...

Characters

Taichi Kurosu
Protagonist. Broadcast Club member. Easily-pleased, carefree, fan of word games, and surprisingly naive. Renowned as Hentai the Great and Harasser the Great. Incredibly attractive, but considers himself horrifically ugly. Has a complex about his looks, and gets sincerely depressed over it.

Miki Yamanobe
Broadcast Club member. Always seen with Kiri Sakura. Together, the pair are called the "Flowers". An innocent, upbeat, ever-smiling honor student. Carefree in any situation. Shares a mutual, close friendship with Taichi.

Kiri Sakura
Broadcast Club member. A very androgynous girl, she is serious, quiet, shy, and withdrawn. She does speak a lot when she starts, though, and has harsh words for her enemies. Though she seems intimidating, she's more easily hurt than her friend Miki Yamanobe. Extremely innocent.

Misato Miyasumi
Broadcast Club president. Hates being called "Mimimi", but doesn't mind "Mimi" (for some reason). Mild-mannered, she is polite yet friendly even to younger students. Seems to have things together, but doesn't. Actually pliant and weak-willed.

Touko Kirihara
Taichi's classmate. Phantom, no-show Broadcast Club member. A spoiled little princess. Domineering and aware of it, she's classist and scornful. She thinks better that way. She's just been very off-balance since meeting Taichi.

Youko Hasekura
Taichi's (self-proclaimed) unofficial big sister, fiancée, and soulmate. A superhuman entity with limitless talents. Excels in academics, sports, and everything else. Her personality is chilly, harsh, and surprisingly playful. However, that's only in action, while she speaks and interacts like a timid young girl. Rarely seen at normal times, she appears from nowhere when Taichi is in trouble.

Yusa Doujima
A girl who used to live near Taichi. Attends Gunjo Gakuin middle school. She had something of a crush on Taichi, but could never approach him due to her shyness. Passionate invitations from a certain older student are giving her hope - and butterflies. She's intelligent and gets good grades, but is terrible at sports. Her mother is one tough lady (100kg), and works as the lunch lady at Gunjo Gakuin.

Nanaca
A mysterious girl who repeatedly appears near Taichi, riding a bike. Although she's an unknown, she's confident and energetic enough to dispel any notions of mystery surrounding her.

Tomoki Shima
A student the same age as Taichi. Originally a member of the Basketball Club, now a Broadcast Club member. An honest, quiet boy. Has an incredibly cute girlfriend. Having made a pact with Taichi and friends to wait to go to a brothel upon graduation, he's still a virgin. A true friend. Sharp-tongued and lacking in self-awareness.

Hiroshi Sakuraba
Taichi's classmate. Broadcast Club member. A total playboy with blond, feathered hair, but also a gentle soul. He grew up a rich, spoiled little prince. This means he lacks common sense, and often takes baffling courses of action. Even so, he means well. Shows a marked lack of cooperative and competitive nature, and is extremely scattered. Has a strong tendency to just wander off.
