Actor Todd Haberkorn creates online worldwide Summer Camp for fans!
Special Otakon Camp Habertat Photo Meetup!
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – August 9th, 2018
Todd Haberkorn, in conjunction with Future Reality Designs, has created his own online FREE Summer Camp for fans to help them get the most out of their time this summer season!
Camp Habertat started in early July of this year, and will run for about 8 weeks to late August when the camp wraps up. Hosted on the Facebook platform in order to reach fans from all around the world, Camp Habertat provides a space for them to discuss, share, and interact in a number of different ways both online & in the real world!
Just like at an actual facility, the 230+ founding campers got to decide which of the initial 6 online Cabins they would be part of during the camp, helping to organize and promote some friendly rivalry! Choices included Cabin Fairy Tail, DWMA, Space Police, and others, each representing a show Todd is involved in!
Central to the event is The Habertat Activity Contest, where campers get to go on various #Habermissions each week competing to see which Cabin can complete the most by the end of the event! All of the missions involve real world activities that focus on teamwork & friendship building and get his fans outside! Campers have visited historic land marks, parks, summer fairs, eaten ice cream, and other famous summer activities so far! The winning Cabin not only gets bragging rights, but some special awards from Todd for achieving that goal.
This year at Otakon, Todd is doing a special Camp Habertat MeetUp for a photo with him and any of the campers who are attending the event. It will take place on Saturday afternoon after his autograph session, with exact details to be released on Twitter & Facebook for the time and location. So keep your checking your feed campers!
Todd hopes the camp will help bring his fans together in new ways they wouldn't have experienced before, and create new friendships even across the world. With over 230 campers representing 6+ different countries it's a great start to what he believes will becomes a yearly event!
