Oriana Perón Appearing at Matsuricon
COLUMBUS, OHIO - August 11, 2022 - Matsuricon is pleased to announce a guest for our upcoming convention Tana's Night Market: Oriana Perón!
Oriana Perón is a cosplaying, costume, and fashion designing drag queen.
She has been cosplaying since 2006 when this nerdy hobby turned into a passionate career. Oriana has studied theatre and costume design at Indiana University and continues her studies with a focus on fashion design, metalsmithing, and jewelry.
Recently, Oriana has produced and performed her Drag Race and Drag Show events at Ohayocon, Anime Magic, AnimeNext, C2E2, Matsuricon, and ACEN. Oriana currently lives in Bloomington, Indiana and is a producer and host for her shows, “World of Fantasy” and “World of Gayming” at The Back Door.

ABOUT MATSURICON:
With a name derived from the word “Matsuri[祭],” meaning ‘festival’, that's exactly what this convention is: a festival of everything geeky and otaku, from anime to video games. There is something for everyone at Matsuricon and the entire family is encouraged to attend! Matsuricon's annual convention started in 2006 and is back for our first year from a hiatus since 2019.
