“Fantasista NFT Project” Releases First Installment of NFTs: “Cthulhu NFT”

Aiming to Create a Cthulhu Community That Transcends National and International Boundaries

Niigata JAPAN, Dec. 24, 2022 — FANTASISTA, Inc. (NSG Group) launched the digital data of “ZONE of CTHULHU,” a Cthulhu comic magazine published electronically by SAN-EI Corporation, as the first installment of the FANTASISTA NFT Project, on OpenSea, the world's largest NFT marketplace, on Dec. 24, 2022.

A giveaway event has simultaneously begun.

Digital Data NFTs of Creatures by Japan's Leading Sci-Fi Manga Artists

The NFTs to be sold are of black-and-white cuts from the manga “Be My Dunwich” and “Call of Cthulhu” and color illustrations from the cover of the electronic manga of the same titles. “Be My Dunwich” and “Call of Cthulhu” are works by sci-fi manga artists Syufo Itahashi and Satoshi Ogawa serialized in the magazine “Zone of CTHULHU”.

The color illustration will be auctioned as a one-of-a-kind work of art. The black-and-white cuts will be carefully selected and sold at an accessible price point. Both NFTs will be sold on the world's largest NFT marketplace, OpenSea.

Purchased NFTs can be used for a wide range of purposes, such as for profile pictures or as proof of being a Cthulhu fan.

Future plans include creating a Cthulhu community for Cthulhu NFT holders that transcends boundaries.

“ZONE of CTHULHU” is a digital magazine, published by SAN-EI Corporation, in which the world of Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos is depicted by Japanese sci-fi manga artists Syufo Itahashi, Satoshi Ogawa and other young artists. Up to Vol. 11 of the magazine is currently available.

Readers can enjoy unique interpretation and rendering of creatures from the Cthulhu Mythos.

In addition to the best-known works "The Dunwich Horror" and "Call of Cthulhu," the magazine features original spin-offs and sequels as well as stories set in Japan.
