World Premiere of "A Playthrough of a Certain Dude's VRMMO Life" at Anime Messe Babelsberg 2023
MAHO FILM and Renowned Creators Present New Anime Series in Person
BERLIN, GERMANY - June 15, 2023 - The Anime Messe Babelsberg is excited to announce the world premiere of the highly anticipated new anime series, "A Playthrough of a Certain Dude's VRMMO Life," by the renowned anime studio, MAHO FILM. The three-day convention from 21 to 23 July at Filmpark Babelsberg near Berlin will host anime director Yūichi Nakazawa and anime producer Yūki Mukai for this global debut.
The new anime series, set to launch in October 2023 and currently in production, embarks on the story of Daichi, an ordinary employee with a love for PC games. Daichi's gameplay style is far from conventional, as he delves into the most extraordinary skills, thereby commencing his unique journey in the VRMMO fantasy world.
The Anime Messe Babelsberg 2023 attendees can anticipate a Special Anime Panel with the creators on Saturday at 4 pm, which will include a live demonstration of Yūichi Nakazawa's skills as an anime artist on Sunday at 1pm and insights into the production process by Yūki Mukai on Friday at 2:20pm. A second screening of the first two episodes will take place on Sunday at 3:30 pm at the large anime cinema, complemented by an exhibition of visual materials from the series.
