Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis Collaborates with Spriggan
Cosplay as Yu Ominae, Wield an Orichalcum Knife, Decorate with OOPARTS, and More!
Tokyo, October 18, 2023 – SEGA today announced the free-to-play online action RPG, PHANTASY STAR ONLINE 2 NEW GENESIS, is collaborating with the science fiction gem that took the world by storm, SPRIGGAN. The collaboration, which begins today, features avatar items, Build Parts, Weapon Camos, and a Limited-time Login Bonus.
The collaboration includes the Armored Muscle Suit used by the main character, Yu Ominae, an Orichalcum Knife, and avatar items modeled after Jean Jacquemonde's costume. Players can also purchase Build Parts modeled after the OOPARTS that appeared in the story and life-size cutouts of Yu Ominae and other characters. AC Scratch Ticket: SPRIGGAN Style will include avatar items for cosplaying as Yu Ominae and Jean Jacquemonde, a weapon camo, an ARCAM Corporation Sticker as well as Emotes, Stamps, Posters, and more.
SPRIGGAN is a work of science fiction written by Hiroshi Takashige and drawn by Ryōji Minagawa. There are more than 10 million copies of the original comics in print, and the anime available on Netflix is currently on a broadcast run that began in July 2023.
