Shiravune is pleased to announce that Kagura Genesis: Kuon's StoRy from the developers at Debonosu Works will be coming to Steam and Johren on January 26th, 2024.
In a series first, the game will release simultaneously with the Japanese release!
The game is a highly replayable roguelike RPG, the game includes fan-favorite features from previous "Kagura" installments.
Furthermore, the game boasts enhanced StoRy event scenes, the series' highest number of CGs, and extensive world-building with hours of roleplaying lore and action to boot.
Play as the Shrine Maiden Kuon Makami and her loyal wolf pup, defending a once-peaceful forest from an encroaching darkness that brings horrible beasts, spirits, and more.
Fight and exorcise evil spirits, recruit diverse Youkai, and level them up to combat progressively stronger foes, restoring harmony to the woods.

STORY:
In a quiet forest, far from any settlement, there lives a girl named Kuon Makami.
Having lost her mother not long ago, she spends her days alone with the wolf pup who is her best friend.
But the peaceful times come to an end when a strange pall falls over the forest, bringing with it occasional incursions of dark spirits.
Determined to find the source of the problem and stop it, Kuon begins training as an exorcist shrine maiden and sets out to brave whatever dangers lie within the depths of the woods...
