Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Leads with 9 Nominations for 27th Annual D.I.C.E. Awards
LOS ANGELES (Jan. 10, 2024) - The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS) is pleased to announce the nominees for its 27th Annual D.I.C.E. Awards (#DICEAwards), the video game industry's premier, peer-juried awards show co-hosted by Greg Miller (Kinda Funny Games) and Stella Chung (IGN). The winners will be revealed at the 27th Annual D.I.C.E. Awards ceremony, the culmination of the week-long industry gathering at the 2024 D.I.C.E. Summit (#DICE2024) that will be livestreamed by our official media partner, IGN, on Thursday, Feb. 15 from the Aria Resort in Las Vegas.
A total of 56 games released in 2023 are nominated. Topping the list with an impressive 9 nominations, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 takes the lead, closely followed by Alan Wake 2 with 8 nominations. Baldur's Gate 3 secures 7 nominations, while COCOON is close behind with 6.
Finalists for 2023's top honor, Game of the Year, are: Alan Wake 2, Baldur's Gate 3, COCOON, Marvel's Spider-Man 2, and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

The Academy's 30K+ members, comprised of the interactive publishing and development communities, recognize excellence in 23 different interactive game categories in one of the highest forms of recognition in the industry. Titles were played and evaluated by members of the Academy's peer panels to determine final nominees. These panels, one for each award category, are comprised of the game industry's most experienced and talented experts in their chosen fields.
