ANNCast Episode 044 - Kirk Up Your Ears

We're back with a first segment! Hooray! Justin and I mostly jabber on about Cat Shit One which really wasn't very good but probably should be licensed by someone anyway, and then it's onward and upward to talk about San Diego Comic-con and what there is for anime fans to see and do there. It's a gasser!

Then we interview Senior Vice President of Digital Media at 4Kids Entertainment Mark Kirk about the company's decidedly sketchy history and their future looking forward. Obviously we don't shy away from the big elephant in the room and we go into One Piece extensively; afterward we chat about their efforts at online streaming, and then it's Twitter time! Good lord, how it is Twitter time!

NSFW Language Warning: Good ol' fashioned swearin' to be had here!

No breakdown this week, but if you want to skip to the interview segment it begins at 21:40.

And that's it! We're off next week after a totally killer July, but we'll be back the first week of August.
