For anyone hasn't been following the manga, this is where it starts to go downhill.

Summer and not Spring, eh? Considering how the first and second seasons went, they could use the extra lead time.

In my humble opinion it goes downhill after the basement.

Too bad that only one compilation film is coming. It would be better to have 2 compilation films for the second season. As it was for the first season.

Well the first season had double the episodes, so at the very least they're being consistent here Razz

I wouldn't say this is where the manga goes down hill, more like this is where people who don't follow the manga will have their questions answered.

I'd have to disagree.

That's where you're correct, sir/ma'am. The Uprising arc may leave people yawning, but it's still a much needed arc. The Return to Shiganshina arc and the spoiler[Marley] arc is when shit gets realer. Wink

It better have at least 24 episodes to make it worth the wait.

Yeah, hope it's two cour. Even if not, the fact that they are already giving exact dates is a good sign, and makes me think maybe they learned a little from their mistakes on the prior season. It's important to not let people forget this series between seasons. And make sure we know it's coming, don't leave people hanging for 3+ years without a word.

Stop giving people false information. The uprising arc was only mediocre because of the pacing of the manga. It had some great content and development. And especially after the basement revelations do things get really intense.

The next arc is very much needed, but it was also the reason I temporarily dropped Attack on Titan. Sometimes it throws so much information at you that it can get too boring and confusing. It has its moments though, and I'm looking forward to see those animated.

Not a fan of the key visual. Between-the-legs shots are a cliché that I'd expect to see in the poster of a comedy movie, not in a key visual for Attack on Titan.
