I wonder if they’re planning to adapt the rest of the manga? The way they ended the manga probably won’t please a lot of fans.

they should do some kind of "Amagami SS" scenario. in the end the author chose one and gave her the needed push. it could have bin everyone from the girls.

Is season 2 being done by a different animation studio or something because it looks different?

Also, I was actually fine with the manga's ending even if it wasn't who I would pick. I just don't think season 2, if it is 12-13 episodes, will be enough to cover the rest of the manga...

So I am extremely worried if they are going to rush this...

Most everyone was largely satisfied. It was just a very vocal minority that threw a fit, as is usually the case.

I disagree I just think even a lot of those who didn't like the ending did not feel compelled to say much. There were two girls that made up the lion share of fav girl by most poles , and he didn't pick either . So while IMO he didn't pick the worst and it a better choice than we never learn I'd wager neutral to dislike probably would be the majority opinion on the Manga .

I don't dislike the new designs but I hope the studio change turns out okay.

Goddamn does no one know how to properly draw Nino?
The color design is fine but I liked season 1's better, I just hope there won't be as much off-model low detailed drawings this time around.

Could I get some proof of this supposed majority dislike? And I don't mean random comments on reddit and twitter. if this was reflected in the sales at all, you might have a point but as far as I'm aware the franchise is still very well-liked

I'm surprised this is even getting a second season when the manga is long over alrdy. That said, from what I've gathered here, people seem to be dissatisfied with the ending but I wasn't really surprised by the outcome. From the start, I knew the "3 girls" were never going to win (U know who I'm talking about).

I haven't seen the 1st season but I don't think this next season will be able to adapt the rest of this series if its only 1 cour. They'd have to cut a LOT of content for that to happen like what happened with We Never Learn (I'm still quite salty about that 2nd season's half-assed ending). The We Never Learn manga is so good right now. It won't leave any fans disappointed. It deserves a much better season than what we got Sad

Compared to other romantic dramas like Nisekoi and Bokuben, is this series really that good?

Merchandising. Despite being over, the series is still popular enough to push new merch on a regular basis. Seems like every month there is *something* Quint related up for sale. There is even an Ichika figure on the way.

Never read Nisekoi. I would say it's written better than Bokuben, with superior art. The key difference is Bokuben focuses more on comedy whereas TQQ is all about the mystery of who ends up marrying the protagonist. While there were some harem tropes thrown around, it felt light on actual romance and the comedy was standard fare.

On the whole I thought the series was good rather than great. The ending felt somewhat perfunctory as if Negi Haruba ran out of steam and just wanted it over with.

All that said, I don't think it was any worse than Bokuben overall, and arguably superior.

I'm guessing this will take us through the end of the Scrambled Egg arc, unless they make a rushed mess of things.(quite possible )
