Looks like FUNimation is really taking the practice of the voice mattering regardless of appearances. Smile

It makes sense for localising a foreign product, where most of the characters are Japanese.

Well, she did Chitose in Ancient Magus and the Dryads in Death March so she is capable of sultry and high girl voices at least. She did Serval in Kemono Friends but I . I see no intersection with Ms. Sakura's roles. I do think there could have been better choices, but she may be able to come close to sounding like Hina...

Does Iris/Dahlia count as the type of voice for someone like Ayane Sakura?

Personally, I hope she isnt directed to sound exactly like Ayane Sakura. No one should sound that shrill. if its similar to how Dallas plays Asta, still loud but less obnoxious tone, then that would be far more tolerable

he was, but he moved to Dallas recently
