Hope GENDA is able to revive the arcade industry and achieve its stated goals of interfacing with consumers and manufacturers. In the good ole USA arcades started declining around 1985 entering a prolonged death march ending approximately 2000.

Streaming is probably going to be the future of arcades, to cut costs. I can't see that being good for right now as cloud gaming still has nasty input lag, which would certainly throw off my Gundam vs. game and would be as bad if not worse for say Tekken or Street Fighter.
