It's cool they got Laura Bailey and Liam O'Brien back for this, although would they have needed to re-record anything for this? Is Nier's age-down reflected in the plot and dialogue enough to warrant new recordings?

Zach Aguilar has come a long way.

Yonah goes from being Nier's daughter to being his sister, so any line that mentions that relationship would need to be re-recorded.

There's also the potential of voiced dialogue having been added and/or re-written.

For those who watched the video and have followed the news for this game, they've already said that they've re-recorded every line of dialogue in the game and even added newly voiced dialogue, in both English and Japanese. Old cutscenes already have side by side comparisons because they have new translations now as well.

And yeah Zach really has come a long way from his rough beginnings at BangZoom.

Rough beginnings? Zach's first few years in Bang Zoom dubbing were casual and uneventful if anything his lot in the voice over dubbing world is still fairly uneventful to this day.
