The Last Unicorn is my absolute favorite, number one film ever. The book is even more brilliant. I'm glad he won. I backed The Last Unicorn Tarot a few years back and the creators promised that Peter S. Beagle would receive a generous chunk of the proceeds. Does anyone know if that money actually went to him? The campaign did very well on Kickstarter and it made me feel good to support him. Did the money all go to his business "partner"?

Once on some TV channel They played the movie back to back with itself. And I watched start to finish each showing. I want to say it even happened two days in a row.
WHen I bought at Autographed book at Otakon they went through a lot of pain to track me down as I screwed up the address. The man and that world deserve some good love.

This makes me happy. He's had to fight this bullshit for WAY too long.

Good for him! I read the book only a few weeks ago, quite enjoyed it. I had a very vague recollection of seeing the movie when I was a kid... Though me being a weird little kid, I used to just take out the insert and admire the artwork and imagine my own story around the plot description rather than watching the movie.

Good for him! I know that's an issue he's dealt with for a pretty long time now.
I love both the movie and the original book, and I should probably revisit both once I have the free time.
