I'm most surprise about Carrot of all people being that damn high.

The furry fandom is truly freighting. Last time I check back when KOL youtuber celebrated the 1000 One Piece chapter video, she was in the 50's(middle of the 100 list), with Yamato(kaido daughter in late 80's somewhere at the bottom.

Times flys by fast in a blink of an eye.

I heard that there seemed to be some movements online organized by fans to come together to cast votes for unexpected characters. That didn't get past the production team (laugh).
The only such campaign I noticed was Woop Slap, and since he ranked 37 I'm guessing it succeeded.

Robin was a surprise? Really? She still has easily one of the best backstories and personalities.
I'm more surprised about Nami, she's good but hasn't had much to do in so long. To be fair, Robin is in the same position but she has a bigger presence when she says ANYTHING.

There were also campaigns for characters like Fishman Nami and Batchee, and Farafra is pretty much a mainstay meme for a segment of the Japanese community.

The top 4-5 are not so surprising tbh (I'd be surprised if Luffy, Zoro and Nami ever rank differently than they have here as they are the three original crew members). I also see that Law's popularity continues to flourish as ever though I hope that after Wano he takes a break from the series as he always seems to be in it since Punk Hazard as an unofficial crew member Lol.

We'll hopefully have some huge revelations after Wano ends as it would be a big letdown if some of the series' biggest secrets aren't unveiled for the conclusion of the most epic arc since Marineford to date.

Big News Morgans seems to have become a meme among the OP fandom in America, so it's not surprising to see he's much more popular here than he is globally. As for Carrot, I think there's more to her popularity than just furries: Oda took someone who seemed like just a bubbly cute character on the surface and made her genuinely three-dimensional and interesting, not to mention a surprisingly powerful fighter. She has all the hallmarks of a character who could end up joining the crew, though I doubt it'll happen at this point. Oh, well.

Japan and Asia came up big for Luffy being #1 because in the interim rankings Zoro actually had more #1 spots than Luffy in other regions, but it was pretty much Luffy and Zoro at #1 and 2 worldwide.

LETS GO!!!!! My waifu Nami made it to #3. She's the best female in OP after all. During the voting process, I voted in a rotation: Nami (#1 waifu), Law (favorite character), Margaret (#2 waifu). I knew my waifu Nami would be the #1 female so I took some days from voting for her to prioritize Margaret, my #2 waifu in OP, because I had a feeling people wouldn't vote for her as much. Then it was in February the results mid-term results came out. I had just been introduced to Rebecca in the story the past month and saw that she ranked higher than Margaret. At that time I was in the story, I knew why, so I gave her 1 of my Law votes. Now that the voting has been revealed, my hard work paid off.

Nami is #3, Law is #6, and Margaret is #87. Not only that, but Rebecca is #74 and my new waifu (after voting ended) Koala is #58. All the characters I wanted are in the top 100. Success.

I remember checking the mid-term results for each region and it was just Luffy and Zoro either at #1 and #2. Now with the final results, Nami is #1 in Oceania, Latin America/Carribean, Europe. Men of culture came through. Thank you.
