It's a surprise that the two creators are actually averse to horror, yet came up with a franchise that would terrify most viewers.

Also, Yuria with the mushroom hair because of the creator's like of mushrooms...

It's indeed a very scary but great anime. I checked the manga out but the anime's way better, imho. The content IS the same...but the anime's stellar visuals and voice-acting are a huge plus.
