Some good insight into this movie's music. I love all of the songs in Belle, both in the original Japanese and in English, which is no mean feat considering how difficult it is to translate Japanese songs into English for the reasons stated in the interview.
It's also pretty cool how the "la la la" part in "A Million Miles Away" is made up of voices from all over the world. |

I've been captivated by this soundtrack all week since seeing the film, and I've been a fan of Taku Iwasaki since Blood Blockade Battlefront; so I appreciate getting to read more about the process behind the music.
I also want to concur that, although I watched the film in Japanese, I've been very impressed listening to the English versions of the songs. they did a great job and I'm glad the crew went to the effort of doing so.[/i] |

I double dipped for this film specifically because I couldn’t decide if I wanted to hear the songs in English or in Japanese.
 Needless to say, the soundtrack has been looping on Spotify ever since! (Also, I totally cried during the La la la part!)

Thanks for this. I just bought the "Belle" soundtrack album from iTunes; I figured after streaming it twice in 24 hours after seeing the movie, I needed to be paying them in dollars instead of pennies.
