That's a brilliant gesture but I'm afraid I'm across the water. I'm interested in learning of a UK release date soon which is hopefully not too far behind. Edit: I realised a quick check online shows it will release the same day in the UK & Ireland so ignore the above question. I heard her performance in Belle and her singing voice is more softer than Ado's in some of the Red songs. Probably for the dub it'll go with the original way of a voice actor and singer as separate. As for the dubbing, personally I'm on the cautious side regarding fast tracking of the vocals on the songs. Though I do want to know how the songs will translate into english and who Uta's va and song va will be. |

The songs already have singable translations in the official subs on Ado’s YouTube. I’m betting the label got her to record the English versions.

If there’s going to be an EN dub at release (and I hope there will be), I’m betting on AmaLee for Uta. Especially if they will dub the music. With that said, I’m also all for doing what Your Name and RADWIMPS did and letting Ado sing English versions.
Of course, if they just keep the music as is, I’m also not against that. |
