If it doesn’t involve the one guy helplessly and stupidly having his wife stolen and pretending or being 100% okay with his wife having sex with the other guy while he gets next to nothing in return it isn’t a proper NTR story.

I mean, that is not a "proper NTR story" but NTR as such? NTR is not cheating, it's not consensual open relationships, it's specifically cuckolding fetish, and what the dude and the reader/viewer gets out of it is the fact that he is being cuckolded. That's the point, that's the kink. In this case, going by the title and the summary, the point seems to be not the wife swap itself, but the wives having a better time with the other guy than with their husbands.
Anyway, I'm a bit surprised to see something like this announced and treated like, well, a proper show.  This alone makes me curious, even though this is not my genre at all. It's like, prestige ero or something. Fancy ero.

This I know the point I was trying to make that nearly all NTR stories (specifically the bad ones) involve that with some of the aspects I mentioned i.e. looking stupid/letting the deal go down despite not entirely being comfortable with it.

They all end up on Coolmic which only just set up a desktop site (it was mobile exclusive for a ridiculously long time). It also has a ticket system for accessing stuff so it'll probably be kinda expensive (like $3 per episode)

Yeeeah that's not worth it imo. I suppose these shows are more of a curiosity rather than something I'll actually sit down and pay attention to anyway.

Joking aside, I am aware non-monogamy relationships are on the rise in rich countries,(maybe couples are getting bored?) but I am surprised this is getting so mainstream that there are now even animes about it. i hope it's not a cheap ecchi show

Have you seen any AnimeFesta title? Most (all?) look pretty cheap. You might get a couple of good looking screenshots but that's it. Unless by "cheap" you mean story-wise? In which case, I can't comment.
Btw, I don't think this is the first ntr H out there.

probably not, but such openness is quite rare i think. Depends on how it's done, i suppose. Some women stories where best friends falling for each other's best friend's boyfriends and then end up going out have long existed, i think. but most of them are very artisitc and zero ecchi in it.(but yes it's still NTR if you really think about it)
but the fufu kokan sounds like the NTRs' NTR. that's what i meant, i hope the story is good(and serious) and not just cheap titilating trash. we have hentai for that.
