Such an amazing interview. Really great to hear this especially, " Were there any particular challenges from using smaller sounds? There weren't really any hardships, but at the very beginning of the soundtrack I tried to use more samplings, like hip-hop, in the songs I wrote."
I've longer wondered about why he didn't mix the two genre types, but I suppose he just saw the music as constantly evolving to greater and greater heights after what was a comparatively mundane beginning |
