This is well deserved, but the art style might be hard to replicate in animated form. I hope they don't botch this.

Yup. Another example is Oshi no Ko being a Shueisha manga, yet Kadokawa still being the lead producer of the anime.

So it could either be decent like KanColle and end up being mega delayed or like Full Dive and Tantei wa mo shinde where it's barely passable. ENGI has already got 2 TV anime and 1 ONA due this year still. They getting some practice in first. |

Biscuit Hammer was maybe not great, but it's nowhere near as ENGI screwed production levels - and Medalist is no way as easy task. |

To me this just begs the question of what the fudge Kodansha was thinking passing this o to them when it's a series that's been on a MASSIVE awards run. Was the studio that did Welcome to the Ballroom not available or something?
