The bit where Hasegawa mentions the deadline makes just a tiny bit worried, but I don't expect huge drops in quality anywhere. Specially with the team assembled here.

Undead Unluck is (the original manga) one of the few series that managed to change its course from the "fanservice action" to full action. From Fuuko being the damsel in distress spoiler[to team leader instead of Andy], from "running away from a shady government agency" spoiler[to kiling God in a time-looped journey ]. Seriously, few people gave them more than 20 chapters, and look at that.

The animation art doesn't look top notch, but I hope they manage to do a good job.

Did we watch the same trailers? This is practically the same exact team as Fire Force's 1st season, and pretty much every PV shown so far, even the most recent one which was just character showcases, feature excellent animation and specially direction.

You know how there's some anime that start off pretty low in the viewer anime rankings here, but end up a lot higher by the end of the season? BokuYaba, Angel Next Door, and so on? Having followed the manga since chapter 1, I have a feeling this is gonna be one of those.

They're saying all the right things, I can't wait to watch the anime!

I totally feel his negating deadlines line.

2023, and reviewers STILL bring up fan service. They act like it's only a recent thing, but it's been there since the '70s. Why do people always have issue with fan service? This series in particular was so tame with it, too.

it happened in the first chapters and starting like this might be off-putting for some especially for a manga's debut and the way jump advertised it didn't help lol.

Say that to this seasons Hero Classroom... for the sake of censorship they completely changed entire scenes and dialogues, a quite butchered adaptation.

I will never look at Tom and Jerry the same way again. UxU is a little more like Itchy and Scratchy really.

Quote:
Ms. Kahara, you have a unique perspective to bring onto this show because, in The Executioner and Her Way of Life, you actually played someone who's almost immortal! What did you think about this role reversal?

Kahara: The character is pretty different! The character I played doesn't know that she's immortal, so there's no real difference in how she acts, really. So the role reversal isn't too much.

Ah, she isn't up to date on the UxU manga after all.
