Was kind of obvious that they would stream those, I am wondering if anyone got:

Hyakushou Kizoku
Cute Executive Officer R
Kyoukai Senki: Kyokko no Souki
Wan Sheng Jie 4

Unless it's one of those cases where the series is streamed in full or partially after it's finished, just like CR is doing with Boco to Roboco and Hidive does with some series too.

No surprise about Kenshin and Duke of Death.

I'm guessing AoA will announce the new Kenshin dub on their own.

The duality of man, people!

I'll probably just ignore this new Kenshin.

Crunchy really did not trust to announce Kenshin even a day before airing did they? didn't want to let people stew over it.

I am actually pretty excited for the new Rurouni Kenshin, I remember watching the 96 anime as a kid in Cartoon Network LA like more than 20 years ago but I never rewatched it. I am also glad that Crunchryroll confirmed that it will get dubbed into Neutral Spanish but that has caused a lot of discussion among Latin American fans since the franchise has been dubbed in different countries, the original anime was dubbed in Colombia, the anime film in Mexico and the live-action movies in Argentina. Crunchy will most likely dub it in Mexico (either in Mexico City or Cuernavaca) and if it that's the case perhaps Óscar Flores could reprise his role as Kenshin from the anime movie, though part of me wishes the studio could contact Kenshin's original Colombian VA, Alexander Páez, since he's still active[/i]

The premier at AX was so packed I couldn't get in They really mishandled it. They should have gotten a whole stadium instead of a room with only like a a 500 occupant limit! Do better Anime Expo

They probably had a hard time gauging the reception considering how vocal some people are being online.

The problem is people are fooling themselves if they think Watsuki is the only pedo in the industry as it was mostly legal in Japan up until relatively recently. If you can't separate the man from the art then you should probably just stop watching anime all together, the entire industry is tainted.

I do separate the art from the artist. I love Rurouni Kenshin, it's a great series and I still engage with what I bought before his crime was known. But I'm not going to give my money to a known pedophile who has never demonstrated remorse, and if/when other creators are revealed to have done the same thing, I will avoid them too. The degree to which this series summons all the pedophilia apologists out of the woodwork at this point is just another reason I want nothing to do with it.

Hyakushou Kizoku was the only thing I was surprised CR didn't pick up, Cute Executive Officer S1 was HIDIVE so would have expected it on that side, Kyoukai Senki: Kyokko no Souki still doesn't have a release date and is likely not airing til August so no reason for CR to announce it so early, and since it's an ONA it'll likely be streaming on Youtube anyway, CR typically only does one Chinese show at a time and they have Link Click II already, and Ikimono-san is airing on the Super Animeism shorts slot that CR has only picked up once (Inu to Neko). The only other surprise was that CR didn't pick up the Japanese dub of Fei Ren Zai that just started this season since they've streamed the last couple, but I guess being TV Tokyo the contract situation is worse.
