Kind of. In this series, the main character is reincarnated into a world that resembles a game he played, and the person he is reincarnated as was the "comedy relief best bro character" in the game he remembers. However, since he chooses to live life in this world in his own way, he never really ends up fitting into that role in the same way (despite making some efforts to try and come off naturally as the same guy). So because he basically makes the role his own, I don't recall the series really lingering on the joke of him being that type of character for very long. |

One other thing that's worth noting is (from the 3 volumes I've finished so far) spoiler[he's less interested in necessarily getting them as romantic prospects but instead is focusing on getting them good ends, and since it's a somewhat battle-ero focused game this means getting them strong enough more than triggering dating flags] |

Yes, the manga has been serializing again for a few months now, though only with a few pages at a time with each update. Yukari Higa's health has improved enough to continue drawing, despite the slower pace. Wishing her the best as she continues onward. |
