This is a saddening article. Where IS enough room for new creatives? Is there a way to prevent something from becoming so big it's doomed to fail? And is there a way to keep the spaces for these events safe from too much outside interference, or will city expansions and renovations just keep preventing that?

There are only so many places in Hong Kong to put events like this. What a bummer.

Thanks to ANN for reporting on this. I wish it wasn't broken up by big ads every few paragraphs. I know it's what pays the bills, but please consider how ads look in the presentation of longer stories.

This was a good read and I appreciate the coverage of events like this, especially hearing what specific people have to say about them. It's definitely a little sad to see a big event like that end as they are important for building community and people's sense of belonging to it.
