Gushing over Magical Girls at #4! I guess I'm not the only one enjoying the show. It is kind of a lackluster anime season, though. There are only four shows I specifically look forward to; Frieren (obviously, far and away), Apothecary Diaries, Dangers in my Heart and Gushing. Don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying Delicious in Dungeon and Solo Leveling, but I can't say I specifically look forward to them every week. Shangri-La Frontier probably comes the closest to joining my list. Everything else is kind of OKish or just not interested in. Luckily next season--starting in a week or two!--is full of great looking shows.

I’m not sure the cumulative rankings are working correctly. I’ve had concerns about this for a few weeks now.

For example, GO Magical Girls. 6 of the 11 episodes are ranked in the top 11 with 4 of these in the top 9. Yet it’s currently ranked 19th cumulatively.

The thing that’s most concerning is its ratings have picked up considerably over the last 5 episodes: 7th, 8th, 16th, 9th and now up to 4th with episode 11. Yet its cumulative ranking is stuck at the 19th-20th mark through this period. That just can’t be right.

I think someone needs to check the maths.

However, one week Gushing was #37 (!) and another it was #29 and yet another #20. I'm not saying you're wrong, but those are tough numbers to overcome. If it remains at #4 next week, that might pull it up some.

I'm too lazy to look, but has any other show this season rocketed from #37 to # 4 in six episodes?

Seeing 'Tis Time for "Torture," Princess consistently ranked so low makes me sad.

The second half of the season has seen it in the top 10 with one exception. This run of episodes should have moved the cumulative position more than it has in the last few weeks - it’s just stayed stuck at 19th / 20th. The maths has to be wrong!
