guess this means that manga cafes will have an increase in traffic since your average manga reader can no longer afford to go buy new manga. Decreasing Manga publication speaks 'volumes' at the state of the Japanese economy right now, since there is decreased demand for consumer goods across the breadth of the economic sector. and since unemployment, homelessness. . .etc. are rising everywhere else in the world besides just Japan. and until the economy turns around in Japan, and elsewhere, your average consumer will just have to take his or her belt in a notch, and , and practice some delayed gratification. me, i trimmed back on purchasing manga. i only have 3-4 series i actually buy now other than the 7-8 series i used to follow back in the 'day'. But, i will still continue to buy manga and support the series i still follow.
