Kodansha also posted a photograph of where the accident occurred, the doctor's medical note on Kawaguchi's treatment, and a photograph of Kawaguchi himself with his arm in a sling.

Is that really necessary? Or is that just some sort of manly thing I'm not aware of? Laughing

Not a bad drawing for his wrong hand. Maybe he should do an entire volume with his left hand, and it could be a collector's item.

The magazine had to publish so much information to quell the rabid otakus in Nippon that are now frothing at their mouthes declaring intentional governmental assassination that has failed -so far- in curtailing the magaka's service to the Glory of Zipang!!!

But seriously; I concur with the comment previously. That artist managed to do a pretty damn decent drawing of the main character with his weaker -and never used- arm. So continuing with that in mind, I don't doubt that the series could go on uninterrupted with nothing but sketches.

I've seen this happen all the time when I was in Japan when I bought Ultra Jump carrying 'Bastard' in it. The artist would often just have pencil scratchings for several months and would later redo them for the takuban later. Other series have done this too, so yes. He can still do and publish work with no worries of otaku going ape crazy for it. Very Happy

Any chance of Zipang getting translated and released here? I really loved the Anime (and am hugely disappointed that it didn't get a series two, considering the ending of series 1) So I kinda want to read it.

Maybe he wants to make it clear that Berserk's mangaka has not turned him into a Nico Nico Douga maniac, and his arm is healing instead of him taking a hiatus to type in WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
