Wow, I can't believe that this is finally happening. With Cobra, Lupin and a ton of classic shows getting new Anime adaptations, it was only a matter of time.

Now the big question is, which part will the Anime adapt? I'm all for a Part 1 and 2, but I wouldn't mind seeing a full-fledged Part 3 adaptation, maybe even a Part 4.

Does anyone know how long this is gonna be? Is this gonna be just a one season thing or is JoJo finally getting itself a long-running TV series?

I highly doubt Araki or any major anime studio would walk into this project with the sole intention of only producing Phantom Blood. At the absolute least, Araki would expect Phantom Blood, Battle Tendency and Stardust Crusaders to be adapted.

That being said, this is my must-watch anime of Fall 2012! October can't come soon enough!

i like the look of the 90's anime better. at least the main character design because that's all they showed.

i could imagine the entire series being made into an anime. id say maybe about 8-10 episodes for Phantom Blood, and possibly 20-30 for Battle Tendency. The rest of the Arcs could go on for 25-40 episodes, but im just pulling these numbers right off of my head.

I actually think Phantom Blood can go for roughly 24 episodes which is a full season's worth of material.

Argh! We got to wait until the September Issue of Ultra Jump to get more information on this show. I really wanna know who's animating this and directing this.

I admit that the character designs stand out from almost everything else that has been made lately. It's kind of cool that some studios are experimenting with different looks much how the new Lupin series was made. Even the witch sequences from Madoka would count. I am kind of getting tired of the whole "moe" looking designs of late.

JJBA has one of the most unique art styles around. Unfortunately that probably hasn't helped it much outside of Japan. I feel most anime/manga fans have pretty narrow views on art.

Seems like I will like it but there is something about the way Jojos transformation from art to animation that makes me skeptical.

For those questioning what, and how much it'll cover, the answer you need was already established in the first news about it. This is the definitive anime for JJBA.

considering that the teaser has the eight protagonists shown, I'm pretty sure they're planning to do the entire series (though I get the feeling Jojolion won't have enough material to adapt by the time they get to it)

Well, if it's eight full seasons by that point they might.
