Looking forward to this, it could very well be another hit like Madoka and Bakemono.

Can't imagine it to be a hit. The viewers are going to compare this with Madoka which is grim dark while this one seems more like a light-hearted slice of life.

Well, at least I'll watch it for Kantoku's art.

I was originally on the fence when this show was announced, but given how much I enjoyed SoreMachi, I'm bumping it up to "cautiously optimistic".

The Prism Nana thread is... somewhere else.

Sasami-san@Ganbaranai, OTOH, I was only mildly interested in before this announcement, because my interest in the original illustrator usually isn't enough to carry me through a series (*looks at Kami-sama no Memo-chou*). SHAFT makes this endeavour much more interesting.

God damn it. I hate shaft and I hate Shinbo. Why the hell does a good novel have to be adapted into an anime by them? They already ruined a few good manga series that I enjoyed.

The article states at the end that the sixth volume was published last August, but there are actually 8 current volumes, the last of which was published in June.

And I'm ecstatic to see that the Shaft/Shinbo combo is doing this series. Always interested in seeing what they do.

Shinbo/SHAFT animating a series based on works by the author of Kyoran Kazoku Nikki? So much joy!
