i was so sad that ebiten wasn't available in anything but 240p and no groups were doing the blu rays, this makes me amazingly happy

as far as I heard, Ebiten was originally a web-only anime and Im guessing that's why this article says it started airing in Oct when in truth it started online back in july

The article states, "...premiered on Japanese television on October 3", which is factually correct.

Good, I was worried this wouldn't get re-subbed regularly on the 720p TV airings. First episode totally hooked me, being 20 minutes of Saint Seiya parody. The ending had me in stitches.

Yeah, I just did more research and the ED was Dorvack's OP, I knew that song sounded familiar. I wish we had more anime bringing up older lesser known titles from the 80s. And apparently they do Ai wa Boomerang for episode 10.
