Nice one, Sentai! Now try to get it out the door without any egregious QC issues, mmmkay?

If this stays as good as the 2nd episode, I'll pick this up, but not as a preorder. Sentai's QC is so awful now, I have to wait for the ok from people who are still brave enough to preorder.

Not yet certain if i'll want to get this. I like most of Kyoto Animation's productions, but this particular series has been kinda disappointing to me thusfar. The action scenes are great and the basic concept has promise, but the writing just seems subpar and the dialogue weirdly stilted and unnatural-sounding.

Part of this can of course be attributed to the light novel source material, but Kyoto Animation should have put a lot more effort into rewriting it into something that has a logical build-up and makes the characters feel a little more genuine. The second episode was an improvement on the first though, so it might yet become a series that i'd consider purchasing on Blu-ray. Still, i would have been much happier with a Nichijou or Hyouka license announcement. I'm quite surprised that those two series have yet to be picked up for US release.

I am with you. The first two episodes have been disappointing. I hope it improves soon because it will be a waste with all the good-looking visuals it has. Still, this is a predictable and good pick up by Sentai.

Well if it turns out to be good enough for purchase than this will definetly be good news for me! If not...well it's still good news.
