Well if 2nd season of SAO airs in Summer it could, since this is starting in Spring. I think its safe to assume this'll be a 2 cour show since its Dengeki Bunkos new big action LN.

Not sure if you want to add it or not but they also announced today that Taku Iwasaki will be doing the music.

Iwasaki tweeted in November that he started working on an upcoming 2-cour anime. This is probably it.

Sorry to inform you, but they only show up in the later novels, so you're unlikely to see them in this adaptation.

Anyways, I've been waiting for them to announce voice casting for the rest of the characters.

We did actually already note that in the article, below all the screenshots of the characters.

Well, they still don't have much screentime.

But you'll want to check out volume 8, which is a flashback volume so the MC is also a shota.

Then there's volume 12 where Shizuku's younger brother appears for a scene. Then there's the trap (try to guess), who shows up again later un-trapped (he's also in that first image).

I'm not too sure who this 3rd shota is supposed to be, but I assume they mean one of the new students who also appears in volume 12.

The 3rd shota probably refers to Sumisu Kento, as described in the lgith novel: "extremely eye catching freshman with platinum blonde hair, silver eyes and white skin. His slight physique and winsome facial features gave off an impression of cuteness to observers". He has all the qualities of a shota...

Dear god what the hell.

I've been reading spoilers on /a/ and this show appears to be the Guilty Crown of LNs--completely stupid and utterly ridiculous. Some of these spoilers are so mindblowingly dumb I'm having trouble believing that this series is serious.

This will be an interesting ride.
