Color me interested. I've never really been into the Shining series before, but I have a HUGE weakness for any kind of music-themed battle powers, so this seems to be right up my alley. I'll need to see a bit of the battle system before I really make that call, though.

Saori Hayami and Asami Seto seem like they've got their characters designs mixed around.

While I`m a severe fan of the 90s versions of the shining series, this one actually looks pretty good.

Now Correct me if i'm wrong here by all means do, the last time i played a game with shining in the title was shining force exa for which was back when i was 14, i'm 22 now, but would that game be the along the series titles? Because if so I'm really looking forward too this game especially because of dragons and but like the one person said I still have too see the battle system.

Yes, the game is along the series titles.
It seems unlikely that it will be localized, though – the games haven't been localized in ages. (Last time on PS2, iirc.)

Would buy, wish it would get localized.

This is what I don't like about Japanese game trailers. They show barely to nothing about gameplay. Of course, I understand that JRPGs are marketed by their stories or characters but I'm just tired of the gameplay of JRPGs nowadays and want something new

"The game will ship in Japan on December 11, and the regular version will cost 8,222 yen (about US$. The limited edition that bundles a Kirika figure will ship for 16,800 yen (US$164)"
It tells us how much the limited edition will cost in Yen and USD, but it doesn't tell us the USD for the regular edition. Also, it's missing a right parenthesis.

I hope this gets an English-language release, I'd definitely play it. Those musical instrument/weapon hybrids look so cool. I think my favorite might be the sword and shield/violin combo, it's very elegant.
