If Disk Wars continues on like this, I would not mind special arcs for the Guardians, Ant-Man, Black Panther, etc.

I noticed some trends here: Spidey appeared after TAS2, X-Men after DOFP and now the Guardians after the movie? What's next, Ultron, the Fantastic Four? I hope.

And cute Rocket Racoon, REALLY Smile !

It's so cool seeing the Guardians getting much more love after the huge success that they have been receiving in the last few months! Go Guardians!

With that in mind, I wonder if Big Hero 6 will show up in this show in the near future because since it is technically a Marvel property, they can use them although with the changes made to the upcoming animated movie, I wonder if it's possible to have the Disney version show up instead of their comic book counterparts.

Obligatory "I am Groot" reference.

Also still confused as to how well this show is doing. I know it's never getting released domestically.

Lyco: I doubt we'll see a Big Hero 6 anime soon, 'cus two 2-d adaptations could cannibalize sales there. Though at the rate Disvel's going, you could see some bonus shorts on the Blu-Ray.

Hmm...not Toriyama enough, Yamamuro! Aw, well, Gamora looks okay from a distance.

I should note that Koga Tsuyoshi and Hatano Morio are directing Episode #24 and Episode #25 respectively. They are the two best directors this series has, so these will be well done mostly likely. Hatano's Episode #9 and #17 and Koga's Episode #16 are all really good episodes, so I suggest checking them out.

Shida Naotoshi said he was working on Disk Wars: Avengers again, so I suspect he will have key animation credit on one of these two episodes. He did the first thirty seconds before the Opening on Episode #16, where Wolverine is first introduced. I imagine he would do something similar here.

I always love Naotoshi's key work. I'm a bit surprised Loki was defeated so early on and now we're on the Red Scare arc with Red Skull.

Apparently Disney is in charge of releasing the DVDs, but they don't feel like doing it currently. Thanks Disney, you owning Marvel and pulling stuff like this is so wonderful.

The film adaption team lives in a fictional city so there would have to be some working around. The source material version could fit right in since they're Japanese. We'll see what happens.

Holy...I am speechless...time to look up his other works.

Design wise, Groot's lack of detail and Starlord's red hair bug me but aside from those nitpicks, they look awesome. Like the tactic this show is going for, introducing characters by riding the hype of the films. Still have no idea if this show is good, bad, and/or doing more justice than Disney's current 'toon adaptions (someone fill me in please). Wonder if it will be dubbed and air on Disney XD...

He works on Toei's stuff usually. One Piece, PreCure, and Dragonball. Here's a MAD of some of his work on those shows.

According to my friend it's more faithful/better than Avengers Assemble, though I don't really watch that so I can't compare myself. Maybe he's still bitter over the other Avengers cartoon being cancelled for AA. All I know is Disk Wars references really obscure characters like the Great Lakes Avengers and Sunfire so that's cool in my book. Oh, and they turned the Wrecking Crew into a sentai/Ginyu Force style team. That was hilarious

I doubt it'll be dubbed in America. PowerPuff Girls Z didn't, and Stitch! was on TV for a whole 1 week from what I recall. They got dubbed in the Philippines but they were really awful 4Kids-esque dubs. Best case scenario Marvel might stream it or something eventually but it seems like another Japanese-only thing.
