I don't know if I had heard of this manga before seeing this article. The premise sounds like something that appeals to the people that enjoy legal dramas.

I know that I had never heard of it, and there is no encyclopedia page for it.
If I had known about this when I took the Viz survey I would have suggested that they license it.

It does look interesting.

EDIT: I could not find a Wiki article, other than an orphaned stub, or any scanlations.
Apparently there was never much interest in this manga in the West.

Touma: They wouldn't have licensed it, anyway.

Judging by the art, they should retitle it to, 'The Smoking 'Fro'. Laughing

I'm not too surprised, considering the past year's worth of chapters have been building up the climax. Since the overarching storyline from the beginning was about uncovering clues from Emily's death, and that mystery has been now extensively explored and her murderer discovered, I guess this is the natural end. Yet I was hoping that the series would continue on with new cases, even if they diverged from the original focus. Up until a year ago the storytelling was sorta handled like in Detective Conan, where the central mystery was gradually revealed over time and in-between self-contained side cases. Then all of a sudden it went full speed ahead and never stopped. I have been reading since it began in 2012, and its been a solid story, but now it feels like it had so much more potential.
