I certainly wouldn't mind a sequel to Edge of Tomorrow. Though I'm curious as to what it would be about, seeing as how the movie didn't really leave much room for a sequel.

Guess after they changed the title, Cruise wasn't aware it was Sakurazaka's novel, and wanted to hang from more airplanes.
Kidding aside, from what we've heard in interviews, it's one of the side effects of his Scientology that Cruise thinks he actually IS his grinning bulletproof adrenaline-junkie character in real life, and that's taken away from his ability to play versatile roles that we remember from the 80's. (Keep it together, Tom, keep it together...)

Hiroshi Sakurazaka ( the actual author ) is writing a sequel, so maybe wait for that. |

I was anticipating mildly enjoying yet another loud, dumb Cruise action flick. I was quite surprised when I ended up loving it.

I like Tom Cruise. Actors and Actresses usually are not like regular people anyway.
As for there being no room for a sequel, that is so far from the truth. Aliens always come from somewhere, and quite possibly they might not like humanity messing with their designs. So hopefully something comes of this in time, got my fingers crossed. |

Yeah thanks Tom, but we already have someone who has a pretty good idea for a sequel. He lives in Japan and writes these neat little novels called "mainga, or manda, or somthing like that? He seems to know alot about it.

I'm sure the author wouldn't mind just writing a novelization of the sequel, instead of having to come up with his own material.

The movie is different enough from the novel, they can go all Attack on Titan live-action movie on it.
