ye pretty much all that was in last few episodes. Hope they give us soon the date when its gonna air but probably best chance is either summer or fall i dont think it will air at spring else they would mention it now already. |

I would not be surprised that the broadcast date for the first second season episode will be announced within the next few weeks. My guess: April 1 or 8, 2016, if they stick to the Friday broadcast schedule that was used in the first season.

Hmm, my bet's on Summer 2016, but Spring is also very possible (hey, the sooner the better).
I'm really happy Shokugeki no Souma got a season 2. I'm sure J.C. Staff will do the Autumn Election finals justice. For anyone who have not caught up with the manga (and for those who have), the finals will be a real treat. I'm looking forward to it! It's also probably going to be 24 episodes again, right? |

Given the fact that more often than not shows' air-times are announced just a couple of months before their premiere, I won't rule out Spring 2016 just yet.

Yeh i wouldnt mind either if its at spring as you said the sooner the better hopefully they give us some more details soon  And i kinda cant see anythin else then having 24episodes aswell since there is allot material left to use doing it anythin less is kinda crap specialy since the series is quite popular not just in jpn but world-wide...

I don't know why Ann people said this anime won'the get second season just few weeks back. They said something about Blu-ray sale is not good, but sj titles never cares about those things.

Probably lazy application of a general rule of thumb for the industry without paying more attention to more specific context.
Basically, it's utilizing broad strokes and then moving on without putting any effort in. |
