This year's 14th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is teasing on Monday that the finale for the "Konoha Hiden" (Hidden Leaf Story) arc of the Naruto Shippūden television anime series will air on March 23 with the anime's 500th episode (or the 720th episode overall in the Naruto anime franchise). Weekly Shonen Jump doesn't mention if the Naruto Shippūden anime will continue on after the episode on March 23. The episode airing on March 23 will focus on Iruka's message to Naruto as Naruto's wedding present.
Naruto Shippūden began its arc adapting three epilogue novels in the Naruto franchise in December. The first part adapted Shin Towasa's Naruto: Sasuke's Story - Sunrise novel. The second part, which adapted Takashi Yano's Naruto: Shikamaru's Story novel, premiered in January. The third part, which is adapting Shō Hinata's Naruto: Konoha Hiden - Shūgen Biyori novel, premiered in February.
The Boruto: Naruto Next Generations television anime will premiere on TV Tokyo on April 5, and will air on Wednesdays at 5:55 p.m. (Naruto Shippūden airs on Thursdays at 7:25 p.m. on TV Tokyo).
