Trivia:

The surname of the author Midori is Aoyama (あおやま) which literally means “Blue Mountain”. She also uses the English meaning of her surname as her pen name in pun kind of manner. What many people don't realise is that her surname is also a reference to the Georgia Emerald Mountain Blend (ジョージア エメラルドマウンテンブレンド) brand of canned coffee products which are sold by the Coca-Cola company in Japan and can be easily found in most beverage vending machines there.

In episode 3, at about 08:26, Lize says that she often eats rations. The video game style menu that appears in the background when she says that is a reference to the menu style for selecting items in the first Metal Gear Solid video game (1998).

In episode 10, at around 4:30, Maya talks about leveling up and threaten Tippy with a broom. Then there's a Lv up sign and a little melody. It's a reference to the Fire Emblem series, the little sign being a feature when you level up with the game, and the melody is the same as Fire Emblem's level up music.
