Manga's 25th anniversary campaign to also give away stamps, cards, pins, more

Ice cream, snacks, and other goods inspired by Hirohiko Araki's manga JoJo's Bizarre Adventure will go on sale in Japan in June. In collaboration with the Japanese confection company Glico, the campaign celebrates the 25th anniversary of the supernatural action series, which debuted in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in 1987.

Crunch Bar ice cream bars with JoJo's Bizarre Adventure packaging will go on sale in Japan on June 12. Three package variations will feature art from the manga's third, fourth, and fifth story arcs. People who find special marked sticks in their ice cream will be eligible to receive one of 1,500 exclusive JoJo's Bizarre Adventure goods. Prizes will include 1,000 commemorative stamp sets and 500 memorial panels that feature images of the protagonists from the manga's first Seven Arcs.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure chocolates, Almond Crush chocolate bars, Giant Caplico treats, and Karujaga potato snacks will be available in convenience stores in Japan on June 13. For every two of the promotional items that people buy, they can receive one special memorial card as well as the chance to win one of 250 complete card sets or albums.

The Dororich coffee jelly drink brand is also partnering to produce the "Bizarre Collaboration Campaign" that will launch on June 5. People who collect codes from special stickers on marked Dororich cups will be eligible to win one of 4,000 JoJo's Bizarre Adventure pins or 250 complete pin sets.
