1/3-Scale, 1/2-Meter-Tall Madoka Magica Figure Teased

The December issue of Hobby Japan teased the upcoming release of a 1/3-scale Puella Magi Madoka Magica figure on Thursday. The issues features an image of the prototype of Madoka's bow from AZONE International's 50-centimeter-tall (about 20-inch-tall) Hybrid Active Figure line.

Japanese figure maker Good Smile Company already released Nendoroid figures, 1/8-scale figures, and 30-centimeter figures. AZONE International is releasing a 1/3-scale Kurisu figure from Steins;Gate this fall.

The first two Madoka Magica films opened on October 6 and 13 in Japan. The third film, Gekijō-ban Mahō Shōjo Madoka Magica [Shinpen]: Hangyaku no Monogatari (Puella Magi Madoka Magica New Feature: Rebellion) will open next year.
