Sega Reveals 7th Dragon 2020-II RPG Sequel Game for PSP

Sega revealed the 7th Dragon 2020-II video game for the PlayStation Portable handheld console in Thursday's issue of Enterbrain's Famitsu magazine.
The sequel game will take place in 2021, one year after the first game. Dragons have begun to invade Tokyo again after a brief respite of peace. Players will again form parties from members of the special force "Murakumo" to fight the dragons.
The game will feature an improved character creation system that will include 40 different voice actors and actresses to choose from in addition to appearance and occupation. The game also is adding the new "idol" occupation, which allows players to give orders to other party members. Players can create their own original characters with any of these voices:

Sega plans to release 7th Dragon 2020-II on the PSP next spring for 6,279 yen (about US$76). A downloadable version will also be available for 5,600 yen (about US$68). Dogs' Shirow Miwa will again handle character design, and Yūzō Koshiro will again handle the music.
Sega released the first 7th Dragon 2020 game for the PSP in 2011. The 7th Dragon 2020 games are spinoffs of the original 7th Dragon video game that Sega released on the Nintendo DS in 2009.
Sega recently filed for trademark rights for the title 7th Dragon 2020: 3rd Encount in September.
