Senkei Kōsoku no Phenogram/Linear Bounded Phenogram reunites staff; TV BD/DVD boxes announced

The game company 5pb. (MAGES.) announced at its "Live 5pb. 2012" event on Saturday that it is making a new Steins;Gate game called Steins;Gate Senkei Kōsoku no Phenogram (Steins;Gate: Linear Bounded Phenogram). 5pb. will release the game on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms next spring.

The story will not be told just from Rintarō Okabe's point of view, but from each of the Labomen's point of view. The title is an apparent reference to "linear bounded automaton," a limited form of the Turing Machine concept in computer science.

Naotaka Hayashi is returning as the scenario writer and chief supervisor. Other writers include Teru Arai, Kōtarō Uchikoshi, Shōgo Sakamoto, Vio Shimokura, Masashi Kigasawa, Kōgetsu Mikazuki, Kiyomune Miwa, Tōru Yasumoto, and Masahiro Yokotani. 5pb. head Chiyomaru Shikura is credited with planning and the original story, and Tatsuya Matsubara is serving as the producer.

5pb. and Nitroplus released the original Steins;Gate game on the Xbox 360 in 2009 as its second "scientific adventure" series title (after Chaos;HEAd and before Robotics;Notes). The game spawned a 2011 television anime series that in turn, is inspiring the Steins;Gate Fuka Ryōiki no Déjà vu film next spring.

5pb. also announced a Blu-ray Box and a DVD box will ship with the entire television series and the unaired epsiode on March 27.
