Free's Tatsuhisa Suzuki Spotted Wearing a Ring

Voice actor Tatsuhisa Suzuki is known for voicing popular bishōnen characters like Free!'s Makoto Tachibana, Kuroko's Basketball's Kazunari Takao, Utano☆Princesama Revolutions' Ranmaru Kurosaki, and The Seven Deadly Sins' Ban. When he isn't starring in popular anime series, Suzuki is also the vocalist for the band OLDCODEX. Needless to say, the guy has cultivated quite the female fanbase. Some of that fanbase found themselves having a collective heart attack on Friday.

Twitter user marutatsu1217 pointed out that an image of Suzuki in a recording booth holding a signboard of his character from Chiruran 1/2 showed the voice actor wearing a ring on his left hand. The tweet has been shared 4,800 times and includes comments from fans expressing their disbelief.

Users wrote:

Wait! Wait! ヽ((;ﾟ;Д;ﾟ;; ))) It's just fashion! He's a fashionable guy! That's what it is, for sure!

Eh eh eh eh eh?! Wawawah?! I stopped breathing for about eight seconds!

Others expressed that they were sure it was a fashion statement while others shared congratulations for Suzuki if he did get married. Suzuki himself doesn't appear to have a Twitter account.

Fans aren't always known for being understanding when their favorite voice actor or actress appears to have gotten hitched without a formal announcement. Voice actress and singer Suzuko Mimori (Umi in Love Live! School idol project) found herself on the other side of the fandom when she wore a ring on the online video program Monthly Bushiroad TV. She issued a clarification after fans responded. Yū Serizawa (Shomin Sample) apologized and clarified her single status after she also posted a photo of herself wearing a ring during karaoke. KAT-TUN singer Jin Akanishi was forced by his agency to leave the GTO: Great Teacher Onizuka live-action television series remake and had his tour cancelled after he got married without permission.
