Man Arrested for Uploading Madoka Magica via Share Program

On February 21, police in Gunma Prefecture arrested an unemployed 27-year-old man from the prefecture's Itakura Town on suspicion of using the Share file-sharing software to upload the Puella Magi Madoka Magica anime online without the permission of its copyright holders.
According to authorities, he is suspected of uploading the anime to an unspecified large number of people around November 16 of last year, and has admitted to the charge.
