posted on by Egan Loo

On Thursday, police in Gunma Prefecture arrested a 44-year-old male company employee from Sapporo City on suspicion of uploading the live-action television programs to video sites without the permission of their copyright holders. According to the police, the suspect said under deposition that he uploaded about 1,700 videos since the fall of 2010.

According to authorities, he is suspected of uploading Kamen Rider Fourze and two other works from December 2010 to November 2011. The police investigators discovered the allegedly uploaded videos while on cyber patrol.

According to the Association of Copyright for Computer Software (ACCS), the suspect allegedly uploaded the 10th Kamen Rider Fourze episode to the streaming servers of Pandora.TV, a site installed and administered in Seoul, South Korea. He also allegedly used the Japanese website F2 Dōga.
